In order to understand life we must be willing to give up life in order to obtain it because the only real way to understand it would take thousands of years. What is life? Is it something that just happens to be or something that should be? Many people view life as something that is easy to obtain and take it away, to others life is as precious to them as their 1st born. How is it that we can question life itself? Man has tried for so long to figure out how to control it. Scientist spends years and years calculating formulas and equations trying to discover what they can never achieve. Many come to believe that they are higher than God himself. “The universe must have had a beginning”, Dr.Gish from the institute for creations says. According to the bible god created the earth in seven days but according to scientist the earth and all other things in our universe were created with a huge explosion (Big Bang Theory) lol. To some people the bibles taking of this makes more sense to them but many modern day people are beginning to accept the more scientific approach when it comes to the creation of the universe. Why is this? One reason is because man has become very self-absorbed and believes that they can find a solution for anything. Another reason is because people just don’t believe that God created the universe and that the universe has always been and always will be. So how then do you know’?.

In today’s materialistic world, the phrase that ‘money can buy happiness’ is tending to be proved. Social research and surveys have shown results based on an individuals income, health and the political scenarios . It is quite obvious that the gap between the privileged and the not is so   growing into a great divide giving rise to different class and status, thus defining ones social circle. It should therefore be understood how an individuals economic status affects their personal happiness throughout all aspects of life. Many tend to refer to this age-old quote “money can´t buy hapiness ” especially when they tend to belong to sector of people who can’t afford the modern day luxuries of life. What they do not realize is that money, might in fact do just that, buy happiness.     …..

The Zen Master Hakuin lived in a town in Japan. he was held in high regard and many people  came to him for spiritual teaching. Then it happened that the teenage daughter of his next-door neightbor became pregnant.When being questioned by her angry and scolding parents as to the identify  the father, she finally  told them that he was Hakuin, . In great anger the parents rushed over to Hakuin and told him with much shouting and accusing that their daughter had confessed that he was the father.All he replied was ” Is that so?”.

News of the scandle spread throughout the town and beyond.The Master lost his reputation.This did not trouble him.Nobody  came to see him any more.He remained unmoved. When the child was born, the parents brought the baby to Hakuin.”You are the father, so you look after the child.”.The Master took loving care of the child .A year later, the mother remorsefully confessed to her parents that the real father of the child was the young man who worked at the butcher shop.In great distress they went to see Hakuin to apologize and ask for forgiveness. ” we are really  sorry. we have come to take the baby back.Our daughter confessed thst you are not the father.” “Is that so?.” is all he would say as he handed the baby over to them.

The Master responds to falsehood and truth, bad news and good news, in exactly the same way. ” Is that so?”. he allows the form of moment, good or bad, to be as it is and so does not  become a participant in human drama.To him there is only this moment  and this moment is as it is. Events are not personalized.He is nobodys victim.He is so completely at one what happens that what happens has no power over him.Only if you resist what happens are you at the mercy of what happens,and the world will determine your happiness and unhappiness. Always  respond to what the present moment requires…

Ego can be all that is wrong with mankind.

If we were all void of ego, there’d be no wars; there would be no blaming other’s for our mistakes; there would be no disregard towards the people we care most about, and there would be no arrogant standard holding; we would have more tolerance and more understanding. If ego took a back seat, all judgmental feelings would also take the back seat. There would be absolutely no social class, and greed would cease to exist. Money would cease to exist, there would be no person left behind to starve or die. There would be absolutely no politics, no crooked politicians representing us and no good-hearted politicians fighting life long battles to stop those who are crooked. Ego protects us from our worst attributes, it lies to us. Ego tells us that they’re wrong, and that we are right.

Ever notice that when you lose something, you then realize how much it meant to you? That you would do anything in your power to have back what you so readily let go? That you would put pride aside? That is because in times of hardship and sadness, your ego is broken down and you have only yourself to blame. You look inward, having to face nobody but yourself, and realize your own faults and problems. Problem with this, is that it is always too late. ..

if I may ask you, are satsfied with the way your life is? This can be a loaded question. Satisfaction in your current life might be hard to gauge. When you step back and take a look at your life, do you feel as though you are on track and doing what you’re supposed to be doing? Naturally there are many things that can set back your progress: having alots of stress,experiencing some bad and good changes or falling ill, to mention a few. Do you feel, however, that your life is where it should be? Satisfaction can be attained in your life, even if don’t feel as though you are satisfied with the way things are going right now. It is the greatest dream to live a fulfilling life, one in which you feel satisfied with your daily dealings and accomplishments. And, although it is clear that a life like this does not come automatically, if you keep working towards it, it is certainly attainable..

Why don’t we say certain things or perform certain acts? What prevents us from using foul language in public? What prevents us, for example, from discussing certain aspects in aforeign place? In every society, there is a concept known as “taboo.” A taboo is something looked down upon by society because of social custom. Incest and indecent exposure are both examples of taboos that hold a legal statute. However, many taboos are not illegal. Many actions and words are only taboo because of custom. There are no particular laws that classify things as “taboo.” In certain places in the world it is illegal to swear, but oftentimes this is not enforced. Many of the concepts we view as taboo are rarely discussed because it makes us uncomfortable to confront them. However, those behaviors that are classified as taboo usually are a major concern for our society. Taboo is a result of generations of civilizations who reject behaviors, including language behaviors, which they deem unacceptable. Various cultures have different taboos, and these rules help people to successfully assimilate into a certain society

Certainly, the various taboos  in the world today help to define certain cultures and help to characterize the people who live in them. Without taboos, societies would be left unstructured and with few rules. Taboos serve as a set of social norms and help to explain the division between what is appropriate and inappropriate. While different cultures hold a variety of taboos, the general purpose for all of them is the same. Some might be considered silly and impractical to others, but that what makes each culture unique..

As I was still a little boy I always wanted to become  someone famous. In fact, this seems to be a dream of many people. When we see celebrities who appear on TV, or magazines, at first sight it seems to us that they live in paradise, in a dream. But is it really so? We know perfectly that no. Being a celebrity has its good things and bad things.

There are two main advantages that celebrities have: money and fame.When you become a famous person, you win lots of money, and it lets you buy things you always wanted, you can some of your dreams, travel to a lot of places, new experiences. You can buy a lot of houses full of luxuries, cars, even private jets. You can let explode all your lust.
And also there’s the fame. Fame is something that attracts many people. People like to be known and popular, have fans and people who identify with them. Celebrities go to big and expensive parties and they appear on television and all media.
But obviously, not all are benefits.

There are many, perhaps too many bad points. Your private life disappears completely. You’re always being chased by paparazzi who take all the photos they can to publish them. And it doesn’t matter if you’re not working, if you are in holidays or at home, there is no privacy. There are many rumors and speculations about your life, public and private, and often is all a lie. You can’t do anything without being criticized, you have to live up to a celebrity, and if you don’t do it they judge you badly.

In a simple conclusion I think that becoming a very famous person brings many frustrations, and the quality of life deteriorates. I think the ideal would be to stay in a half point, and have more freedom, although I don’t know if it’s possible ….
